Most of the middle of Mexico is some sort of desolate, desert-ish soil - import soil and/or some of my Grandfather Hugh Graham's unique ferterlizer formula sold to farmers of the west coast in the 50's...partnered with Weyerhauser Company, etc...(long-ish story...)
